Yes, I know about the japanese way of devoting your life to the country, to being the best at your job and what you can be, aka a life of sacrifice for very little.

However I live in one of the most deprived areas here in the UK, wageslaving here is pretty grim and owning my own house isn't that simple either because of these reasons. It's depressing as fuck and continues to get worse year by year.
