I've not played these games in a while.
I keep putting them off, telling myself I'll go back to play them, but I never do, because their both bad.
Paper mario ttyd is one of the most overrated games I've ever fucking played in my life.
It's right up there with half life 2 tbh.
Fanfags of this game love to soyout over how much funny, silly and quirky the game is.
The games humour is pretty funny, but humour doesn't make a game good, gameplay does, and ttyd fails in that department.
This is something gamers have been banging on about for years, it's absolutely embarrassing when they forget this, like they did with half life 2.
I found the platforming in this game pretty shitty, which is surprising considering this is a mario game!
There are even moments of the game where it felt like I was walking down a hallway with nothing to do or jump on.
The environments felt bland and empty too.
I don't like how you can only have 1 companion with during the fights and not 2 just to speed it up a bit.
The games also very wordy, you can't skip cutscene and characters just talk you ear off.
I've played and liked jrpgs like shining force 2 and phantasy star 4 where there's lots of talking and cutscenes, but those games and cutscenes were not as long as the ones here.
As for warioworld, I didn't feel like continuing with it because it felt bland.
The combat can also get repetitive, but I thought the puzzles were alright.
But yeah, don't care for these games and I'll happily take mario sunshine or Luigi's mansion over both these two.
I would pawn them off at cex for cash, but the guy in the shop told me theres a five day testing period, because they've received so much shit traded in
