I have a mild (only orthodontists really notice it) underbite. I feel like it may even let me fraud a better chin.
I had some rubber-band thing for 3-4 weeks at night time as a kid in my mouth that the orthodontist said I needed to prevent underbite. Don't know if it had any effect and this orthodontist always tried to milk me with things like braces even though my teeth are straight. I still have a very mild one where the bottom teeth are lined up with the top ones (this is the most common type of underbite). I was at a family friends place with my parents and siblings and my parents while drunk bring this up while people were talking about braces and they always like to say I would have some ridiculous hapsburg tier subhuman underbite if not for that and they said no one in the family has it so they don't know where it came from. My dad joked it was from him making silly faces to me as a baby with his chin out. Everyone was laughing at how I would supposedly look subhuman if not for some 3 weeks night time rubber-band bullshit correcting the growth. It was so brutal and humiliating. I was recently feeling better and then this shit happened and it has had me furious for days after it happened. It destroyed me. Also apparently if I ever managed to betabuxx some chick they would bring this up. I wonder if she would stick around after hearing that.
Imagine if you got some surgeries or whatever and you fixed a deformity and finally felt good about it and then your own parents tell people about how you should actually look and humiliate you. Like you did it all for nothing. They never let you live it down.
