All Rockstar knows how to do is make over produced movie games, RDR2 was one of the most miserable experiences I've had in a game since FO3. The gameplay was mostly your standard shooter affair, the story felt dragged out for the purposes of having more missions, every section of gameplay was easy and very brief, and the entire time I played the game I was just thinking about how overrated it is and how much time is spent on traveling and listening to dialogue compared to time spent actually playing the game. The characters weren't even that memorable, all I remember is that Dutch was always talking about having a plan and Arthur was a cuck with an overly modern world view. On top of that the gameplay experience really took me out of the story. How am I supposed to square away the idea that the group is down on their luck and on the run while I'm effortlessly able to kill dozens of men by myself?
