Before any single-digit IQ organism starts chimping out, I'm not denying that looks are king, but the whole point of a society is to limit the prevalence of human instinct over reason.
Most people here look at our issues in a very surface way and just lump it at looks instead of the reality that most of our issues stem from socioeconomic factors. There is a very good reason why basically every successful society and religion put a hard stop on hypergamy, female promiscuity, attacked usury, promoted collectivism etc. All of these things exist to stamp on human instinct.
Understand that women now and women 5000 years ago are exactly the same. Understand that betabuxx was the norm for all of recorded human history, it's just that modern society killed it. Women in the 50s didn't love their oofy doofy 5/10 husbands, but they simply depended on them for economic reasons. You can easily see that in how most of boomer jokes boil down to "my wife is bad" - betabuxxing might give you a relationship, but if there are no societal institutions to keep the female in check (like religion or societal norms) you will get the 50% or 60% divorce rates we see now, mass dead bedrooms etc.
On the other hand, women now earn more than men do, so they don't even need a man for money. This factor and the last one doomed most men.
So, understand instead of trying to change and bitch about human instincts which can not be changed, we should talk more about the destruction of past institution which kept these instincts in check.
