Their (multiple) civil wars had muslims and christians fighting each other, and had weird alliances with foreign states. Like Iraq under Saddam and Israel supporting christian fascists to fight Palestinian Islamist who were also at war with Syria.

It seems that this is in Lebanon and it’s against the Hezbollah militia. Nice to see more people waking up to the false narrative that Iran and the Shia are “based” and our actually protect Middle Eastern Christians
