[SPOILERS] but this came out almost a decade ago so idk who would be upset
I thought most of the star wars movies were actually quite uninspiring and predictable, but Rogue One is one of my favorite movies of all time. Orson Krennic is an absolute hero for incels, just look at how it starts. Even though he is presumably far better off in status than Galen Erso, you can see that he envies the quiet family life he never got to experience while chasing power and prestige. As if in an act of retributive justice, Galen's wife is killed by the end of the opening scene (self-defense btw, as she shot first).
As the movie continues we see more of Director Krennic's heroism, courage, and vision. After the testing of the death star weapon, Admiral Tarkin attempts to take credit for its success. Despite being of lower rank, Krennic bravely confronts him in one of the most based clips in cinema history.
This is something that deeply resonated with me even before I became an avowed incel because it reminded me of how religious fundamentalists always demeaned my achievements in favor of giving credit to a higher power.
Towards the end of the movie, the rebel scum attacks the data vault on Scarif, and Krennic does everything in his power to save the data. Though he ultimately fails, cementing his status as a tragic hero, his efforts exceed what the average commander would probably do. Not only does he deploy forces, but goes personally to confront the intruders face to face. Maybe there are attributes I missed but I am rather distressed tonight and just wrote this quickly to put my mind to something.
P.S. I know there is a new series that features his character but the movie is all I have seen. From clips of the series I don't think the portrayal is as based, they sort of turned him into a lolcow with the "SYNTHETIC KALKITE" and such.
