Liberalism got absolute power in this country the same way that anyone wanting absolute power does so:
1. Control the media
2. Portray your enemies as flawed and understandable but unlikeable morally bad people
Simple. This is how you psychologically control the masses.
Liberals simply created propaganda media where people with liberal perspectives were seen as high status, morally good, upstanding people and people with conservative perspectives were seen as flawed and unlikeable. Not so unlikeable that there weren't qualities to like about the conservatives, but someone you would never aspire to be.
Take "All in the Family" with Archie Bunker. He had likeable characteristics but was a crass bigoted fat ugly character meant to personify conservative dads.
They did the same with the Boys with Homelander, Arthur Flek with the Joker, etc.
This propaganda was so successful over the past 70 years that the conservative no longer resembles the ideals they once believed. Their conception of conservative is the propagandistic caricature, which is why Trump is so popular despite being a crass gross unlikeable human being.
Remember when there was conservative outrage over Bill Clinton having sex in the Oval Office? Conservatives haven't obviously conserved anything, because Trump having sex with a porn star is no big deal.
However, Liberals don't understand this psychological manipulation any more. The Frankenstein monster was made and it got let loose on the creator, and they are terrified at conservatism.
They should be cheering and jeering Trump won over the conservatives and that all their media villains like Joker and Homelander and Archie Bunker have been adopted by the right wing as a symbol of who they are.
But they aren't, they get morally outraged over it and try to stomp out conservatism these days. Todd Phillips was so outraged over Joker he makes Joker get raped and killed after singing gay songs with Lady Gaga. They have tried to destroy Trump and they genuinely believe that Trump is a fascist.
Let's ignore the fact that Trump is against free trade international capitalism, is for vast legal immigration, is a national isolationist, is pro Obamacare, is pro Russia, pro abortion, pro LGBT, and is an atheist who mocks religion and God. That doesn't matter for the conservatives, because the propaganda has been so effective that the idea of conservatism resembling something like Duck Dynasty where southern families pray to God together is unfathomable. They much prefer moral and social transgressivism, jerking off the Hawk Tuah girl.
But this gives me hope, Liberals are so fucking psychologically damaged that they can't even propagandize effectively. This means we have a ship with nobody steering it, which means eventually someone who knows how to steer it will take the wheel. Trump is trying to, but he's part of the same liberal system.
