I don't play games anymore but I do enjoy watching streams
In my case i am too scared to play such games. I played re 2 remake recently. Only i know how the fuck i just managed to complete that game. It was horrifying.

if it was due to Mr X chasing, Outalst will definitely scare you

Scary, I shit myself every time I play it in the dark.

Yeah I enjoyed it

Yeah i have seen full playthroughs of outlast twice on youtube. It is just chase simulator. Some mf looking around for me in a building i am trapped in, checking every room, walking in the corridor, reacting to every sound, being always present, it all is very tense, stressful and scary. The rpd part in re2 remake in general is very scary even without that Mr. X nigger. Adding Mr.X to it took it to another level. I just completed the only necessary puzzles needed to escape the rpd after Mr.X shows up and left. Before Mr.X showed up i was trying to explore the RPD fully. It was such a nice feeling leaving RPD. RE 2 only had Mr. X. Outlast has like many characters trying to get a hold of the protagonist. But who knows, i might try it in the future.

Yeah it really is a chase simulator but it might be an enjoyable experience at night with headphones

have you played it, do you like horror games?

I don't play videogames anymore, it became too much of a chore to me but I like watching streams and videos of them

Of course you like watching others
:feelsUgh: uh yeah? Because videos on youtube are scarce and I can't watch the same pattern of gameplay over and over

It gives me some adrenaline and something to play at 3 am. I replayed it often to speedrun attempt. Outlast 2 is better though, the atmosphere is great and the school reminds me of mine a bit

I know another group of people who like to watch others having fun and their name starts with "c"

It's not like that, you don't understand my schizo head reasoning, doing anything in videogames has become too stressful for me, but I want to engage with new content so I watch gameplays but then they finish on youtube so I have to resort to streams to have non repetitive interaction with the game and stimulate my mind :feelscomfy: :feelstastyman:

Will watch it soon after finishing watching whistleblower dlc

If you had a gf, would you also watch her fucking other dudes because fucking her yourself is too stressful ?

Nvm you don't get it, might do a post explaining it better sometime

second game is meh first one is peak

I remember it wasn't that talked about at school and i was the only one who really knew about it. I though the game was alright and whistleblower. I never bothered playing the sequel or the trials

Havent played it but saw same gameplay, seems interesting enough ig

I mean sure I always prefer playing it but they can be kinda relaxing to watch at times(no commentary) or good background noise

Can't fight back, bullshit
At least make it like a manhunt games

Tried playing it but I got bored real quick

I find horror games pretty boring tbh

The protag is a passive cuck who spends the whole game running, hiding, and crying like a bitch. What kind of man doesn't fight back when he is attacked? :feelskek:

Even in Alien: Isolation, where you play as a woman, she fights back and uses weapons.

Yes at least if you play as a weakling just lemme slit their throats or chop their balls off before I can gut them, just running and hiding is boring shit

If you were in his place would you fight back or try to run away? Me personally I'd get the hell out there ASAP

The formula can be boring, it's the type of game you only enjoy the first time you play

Yes, the fat guy is genuinely terrifying and it makes sense to run from him, but not all enemies in Outlast are that strong or intimidating. The protag running from every lunatic, like a scared child is just pathetic.

I liked the first outlast, the second wasn't as good but it was worth playing, haven't played the trials and I'm not interested either.

All in all I'm not a big fan of single player games but for horror games they were pretty well done.

everyone says the second isn't as good as the first

It didn't have the same feel as the first one, the first one is placed on an insane asylum so the atmosphere is quite different.

Insane asylum was a whole different vibe
