Discussion Opera GX is a surprisingly good web browser. What web browser do you use?

I use 3 web browsers for different purposes.

1. Chrome, which is for work e-mails, LinkedIn, job websites, basically anything ''official and important''.
2. Firefox, which is for casual web browsing, social media, YouTube.
3. Opera, which is for my true self. I browse .is, porn and gore sites.

Recently I've reinstalled Windows because it was crashing daily and I decided to get Opera GX instead of regular Opera. And it's so much better. It's less glitchy than Opera (which had very glitchy tab rearrangement) and also has some cool ''gaming'' features.
For example every time you type, there is a fake mechanical keyboard sound which I like more than I expected.

Have you tried Opera GX? Or what web browsers do you use?

Firefox is perfect for me, for years I was a massive GX fanboy until the RAM usage issue got out of control out of nowhere, give it it time, GX will start using your PC for crypto-mining in some Asian shithole, anything Chromium-based can get fucked

Yep, one tab on GX is 1GIG of RAM, it's not like it's an issue, I have 8GB RAM, it's the fact that GX is marketed as a "lightweight" & "RAM Friendly" alternative when that is a complete load of bullshit, why do they have to lie to consumers? And the RAM control nonsense doesn't even work jfl

The best thing about Firefox is there is a setting that enables you to right-click on an image/video even if that website normally doesn't allow you to, then you can save it. It's good for coomercels to download coomerfuel

Sometimes I use Edge for the Bing Chat/Microsoft Copilot. You can use those in other browsers, but they are very limited.

i use librewolf as my main browser and on occasion HTML encoding will fuck up due to its privacy settings, primarily when you are uploading images. sometimes the images come out as random colours as a result. this depends on the site, it works fine on .is but when i change my avatar on Google this happens
a good in-between of the privacy-heavy Librewolf and the laissez-faire Firefox is Waterfox.
