People might think it's ridiculous, but most of us are already subject to alcohol and tobacco duties and fuel taxes and air passenger fees -- expensive taxes meant to reduce the consumption of certain goods and services.

I don't see why unhealthy, subscription-based pornographic content shouldn't be added to the list.

Whiskey distilleries pay corporate taxes on their profits. That doesn't stop the government from levying an additional tax on the production or importation of alcohol anyway.
