Nowadays the question is pretty much settled and most of the users who were part of the guerrilla movement to decriminalize bragging about kisses ended up getting purged but there was a time when they were high status users on the forum and had a massive amount of influence. I'd estimate like 50% of the site's userbase was sympathetic to them in mid 2020. People also seriously debated if being 6'5 and only having Asian slays makes you an incel and not as an ironic shitpost or anything

There is an alternate timeline where the culture war went the other way and bragging culture took over the site. Even just different people being appointed to mod positions could have made things turn out that way
