I decided to look at actual sources, and most of them have very different numbers, but around 4-8%. Im pretty sure the actual number is much higher, but still, even official sourceses say that number is higher than 1%. From where the 1% data even comes?

People treat cases where it is neither proven nor disproven as automatically true despite the likelihood it could be false. Ever heard the "most rapes aren't reported" statement, Well if they aren't reported, how do you know they are true?
