Whereas back in like 2001 or whatever it wouldn't have even been a crime. Which is probably better because those families would be OK, and chances are just because someone looks at loli once or twice they're probably not dangerous.

idk, people generally dislike those places because it's sort of a gateway to the real stuff.

Many places that do host lolicon content are pretty anonymous to a decent extent that you wouldn't be able to identify a user at a first glance, plus due to jurisdictions and the internet the police don't really bother going after people who view that content despite being illegal.
