Last good AC story was AC3. After that it was just filler stuff completely unrelated to Desmond and the Apple of Eden. AC should have ended there and then. I wouldn't be surprised if we see multiple Season Passes for upcoming AC games.

Brutal assassin's Creed pill. Even games after 3, like BF, unity and syndicate were ok-ish and had some ties with the original story. It's come to an utter bullshit since though. AC3 and 4 were the peak of this with Juno release and jfl they ended this story in comics
