Because I was a fucking idiot when I chose my college, I chose one that is extremely far from my home despite getting into multiple others that were in my home state. This was a major mistake and there have genuinely been no real benefits to coming here. The education itself was good I guess but there is nothing specific that happened here that couldn't have happened elsewhere.
One of the downsides is that I have to commute for an entire day by flight. These trips are usually smooth enough but the most recent one was absolutely ridiculous. The trouble began when the first flight was behind schedule, and many people were afraid they would miss connections. Eventually I got worried as well, and asked the passenger next to me (who didn't seem to be in a hurry) if they could get up to let me out. They were happy to do so, but then as I was leaving, this foid came out of nowhere and demanded I help her get her luggage from the overhead bin.
Not only could she see I was trying to leave quickly, but was herself in a better position to grab it. I was already past it, and she was still behind it. However I didn't want to look like an imbecile, especially since the other passenger had just done me a favor. So I awkwardly reached backwards to grab it, but she didn't even make an effort to grab it as well as I was taking it down. She put her hands up to it, and I let go because the angle was starting to twist my arm. I guess she sort of caught it, but by that point I was already turned away. On my way out another foid yelled something about "letting the people in front go first" (completely insensitive to the issue of connections).
In the end, none of this mattered because the connecting flight was also delayed, so I could've stayed back longer, gotten a better angle, and not hurt myself. Or just stayed in my seat and not asked to get up, which could've stopped the whole thing. Instead, my arm was severely sprained. To make matters worse, as I walked through the connecting airport to the gate, I found myself on the heels of these two girls from the flight. One of them was a cute hapa with brown hair and bangs, and a light pink crocheted sweater. At times they would speed up and run, and seeing her run was cute but angering, because it emphasized what I have missed out on in life. She was so feminine and girly at a time when a lot of women have become masculine, and that made her stand out to me, but again it was more angering than encouraging.
Once I got back to my room and had dinner, I fell asleep and slept well into the afternoon because of how exhausting the trip was. And as a result of that, I am still awake in the middle of the night right now. Another term of being a practically nocturnal sleepcel begins.
TL;DR — foid asks me to get her suitcase down and causes me to sprain my arm; the entire thing could've been avoided if I had known the next flight was also delayed; saw a pretty hapa with bangs running in the connecting airport and got angry about it.
