Finished 100 chapters out of 150 in one sitting. That took the entire night and a good part of the morning. Had to take a half day at work because of this. And I am someone who usually doesn't read more than 2 chapters a day. Though with this one I was doing a 20 chapters mileage.
A very depressing read. Tbf, I am nothing like MC, nor I was in the position he was in (he had a gf ffs). But many of the things that are depicted here hit waaaay too close to home. It was hard to read at times. The art is simple yet effective at conveying the story and the emotions.
Finding out that this was based on author's own lived experiences was not surprising. This is not the kind of shit you can "think up" on the fly. Also, it is not advisable to read it if you are not in a good mental space. I did and now my depression has deepened. Author himself admits this work is kinda like him spreading his curse to the world. But maybe people like us, with mangled minds doomed to live half dead lives, were cursed from the beginning.
