It's more like 37 bucks, im in Serbia.
It's not complete shithole, but minimum wage is around 200€ and average wage is around 350€. but food and consumer goods are same price and even more expensive(electronics for example) than in west. Although property price and rent are cheap, also security situation is vary good (no terrorism, low crime) i would say it's safer here than in lots of western parts, higher education is good and too. Healthcare is meh, but it's improving, you don't have to wait THAT much and they streamlined certain bureaucratic shit recently.
