Watamote is basically about this socially awkward loner girl and the humorous situations she gets in because she's such an autist
It may seem like but this is NOT pro-incel media
First, it's very obvious that the main character tomoko is very cute and basically a generic anime kawaii cunt except with greasy hair and eyebags. all of the fans of this manga find tomoko irresistibility cute. If such a girl existed irl she wouldn't be single for very long. Would this manga be anywhere as popular if it had a legitimately ugly incel autist? Fuck no
It becomes abundantly clear what watamote is really about once you start reading it. It's basically the experiences of an ugly socially awkward male superimposed on a kawaii anime cunt. What she goes through are extremely male-centric scenarios which most people here have experienced (and all women haven't). By identifying these behavior with a cute girl, the incel reader gains hope that there is in fact an awkward girl in his future who really is desperate like he is
