I received my MO27Q28G yesterday and let it warm up before plugging it in (I live in the midwest).

It had a great picture, but clearly visible black lines running vertically (gray banding).

Today, after reaching 4 hours of runtime I ran a pixel clean and now the lines are all gone! Hooray! The gray banding is basically completely invisible now.

Definitely recommend getting an OLED if you can afford it.

yeah but you need to be aware about image lingering or it burns into the picture.

Yep I have a secondary older IPS monitor I will use for static stuff like schoolwork. This one is for gaming and videos mainly. :feelsYall:

Is that grey banding visible in normal use or in a greyscale test/blank screen?

Vertical banding is normal and unavoidable with OLED but you really need to look for it.

Essentially invisible in normal use now after the pixel clean, only visible in a fully gray test screen

I'm only middle class. I saved all my money literally since I was a small child to eventually buy the things I wanted, a pc and monitor now recently.

Ok, I wouldn't worry about it then. I've always had faint banding in those greyscale tests and it never became noticeable. When I first got my OLED, I hyperfocused on these things.
