I think 90's-early 2010's were the comedic goldmine of movies and TV shows.
In recent years it's really taken a downturn due to media censorship and the lack of original idea's since everything has became incredibly banal.
There wasn't too much originality in those 2000's films either but they were still somewhat enjoyable to watch, even made me laugh a few times which modern movies always fail to do.
