I am a burger?You're probably a burger. I am a turner, better known as a lathe operator.
Good lord. Look up your own dictionary. Damn ... .
Do you mean you operate this machine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lathe
???
Look up my own dictionary? Why? If you would have said according to my language's dictionary/word, I would have understood. I have used those machines!!!!
I have never ever heard about that "lathe" word. Because you wrote LATHE, I thought it could even be an acronym. I had absolutely zero idea what you do for work. I know English grammar but know only words from the areas I have personally needed or encountered. My language is Finnish which is as far from English or German as some native African, native American or native Australian languages. Totally different vocabulary and grammar. Many machines we use in Finland, maybe even most, are actually made in Germany and many have only German texts in the machine and then added Finnish instructions.
I am not verbally stupid. I just had never needed that word. I can hit the ceiling of the verbal component of (Finnish) WAIS-IV test easily, but in English would probably be in retarded territory or at least way below average.
