Those men probably felt guilty and awful afterwards, however it was necessary for the survival of their genes. Especially for uglier lower class men. This is especially true for enemy toilets, let's say you conquered an enemy tribe, killed all the men, come into their village, you kill all old people and young boys and then rape the leftover toilets.

This just seems very far removed from modern civilisation.
