We are all both angels and demons.
These two forces fight within us all, forever.
If you tell me that you have never thought about doing evil…..I will call you a liar.
And every evil person has a part of them calling them back to the light.
Even serial killers sometimes wish they could be a hero and be loved by everyone.
I know, I have been friends with a couple serial killers while I was locked away in the psych prison.
So, what is my point to this post?
True goodness is choosing to be good, even when it is not beneficial to you.
Anyone can be a good person when they are being rewarded for it.
But, can you still be a good person when it puts you in great danger to be a good person?
This is the choice I had to make.
I found some sort of redemption, but spent half my life looking over my shoulder, in fear.
I don’t regret it.
On my dying day, I will die with a smile……as I walk through the gates.
