Oblivion remaster feels really off to me ngl

Seeing the new gen UE5 graphics mixed with the wacky Oblivion nonsense, terrible voice acting and exaggerated facial expressions just feels weird. As if the remaster was an ambitious texture pack that you'd find on Nexus mods rather than something official. Maybe in game it's different but from videos that's what I felt.

I hope mods and patches will address most of my complaints about the remake. I kind of want to play it, but from what I've seen they botched too many things that I liked in the original game. It still has some potential, lets see if it can be helped with mods (as usual for bethesda games)

I think most of Remastered looks good. I understand it's more normalized compared to the color and style that the original has, though.

I mainly like Remastered because it fixed some of the big flaws with leveling, and it's simple to change everything on the fly with PC.

Oblivion character faces are one of the ugliest I've seen in a videogame. Doesn't help the game has been memed so much it's impossible to take seriously. At least you can make a truecel character kek.

im playing it now its good. better leveling system and all. to me its fine evreything a remaster should be.

I like oblivion on ps3, lost of dungons, loot and leveling is extremely easy. Magic is OP, i have 100 destructions from spamming fireball at everything. The speech skill is tedious thought and it's great you can auto pick locks. The characters look funny and i like it that way. Fuck the goyslop remaster who took tits away from female characters
