friends, family, health, foids (insert IF I HAD ONE meme here) its all compound interest. you are paying them with your time, effort and raw emotion (usually) which is 10x times worse than just paying outta pocket (in a pay to play type of situation). if you could/can choose between the former and the latter, always choose the latter. people might think you are a phony for that, but honestly, who cares? they are not on your side of the track anyways.

i always thought a soccer player like neymar is a dummie for paying an allowance (true story) for his so called friends (who would certainly ditch him at the first sign of trouble) and cristiano ronaldo a fool for paying a random ass foid to get pregnant with his baby then never be involved with him or his children, but i realized... they are just one step ahead in this game called life. they get to have peace of mind and never worry about any of that supposed affection and if there are true feelings involved BS cause they already established that it is, in fact, a transactional relationship.
