Let's take the US (a classic example of a Western country):
We see that age ranges between 18 to 30 (among the "young" demographic there are more percentage of males in the US than the percentage of females). For reference, left-side is age, middle is the % of males, and right is % of females.
However, as we go up in age, move more towards the late 40s that when there's closer to an equal shift, but however as we get into the 50s age range that's when we see a shift or a % of the female population over taking men.
Well, yes it would seem pointless or redundant on the surface (because one would think "these females would congregate or orbit around one Chad") but however the point of this thread is to point out how small the dating pool actually is, and of course this does depend from country-to-country. But however, whatever starts in the US, will usually trickle down to other Western and European countries.
And of course once you get into the 60s... what's even the point of dating? Low sex drive, worn out vaginas, and erectle dysfunction. Most likely over anyway. People think betabuxxing comes around once you get into your 30s or 40s, but actually more or so once you get into your 50s and 60s. JFL...
There are also certain attributes that decrease the dating pool. One of them is that there's a growing amount of women being lesbians and bisexual, which massively skews the dating pool to being smaller. Also, another thing in mind is that almost 20% of Zoomers are LGBT (most of them are actually bisexual females) while 11% of Millennials are LGBT. However, I wouldn't be surprise also if generation alpha has a higher percentage of LGBT as well. People maybe like "hey wouldn't gay guys help decrease the dating pool..." well, actually not that precise because there are more men that identify as being straight/hetero than being gay or whatever bisexual than women (who are usually more openly bisexual and lesbian). This massively cuts the dating pool. Also, on another note immigration kind of does impact the male and female ratio (most of the people are immigrating or coming in are usually young men than young women with the exceptions of Ukranians. However, they won't easily get access to Western women, of course).
So practically this makes us even more invisible to women than what we realize (quite a redundant point) and this all-in-all intensifies the current dating pool (more guys fighting for scraps, the scraps being ugly females, of course). Even. However, the thing as those current young men age... there will possibly end up becoming more men than women even into the older ages. However, usually men die on the job, die in wars, suicides, and are more prone to certain sicknesses/diseases than women are (on average which they tend to die earlier). But then even what's the point of dating at that age range.
