They have no reason to parade their """depression""" around.

The only times I'm truly happy is when I trick myself into thinking I'm not hideous. The rest of the time I'm miserable is due to my hideous, goofy, droopy, fleshy, boneless baby face.

Being good looking is really the only true key to happiness.

If there's one type of person I'd like to kill, with immunity, it would be 7/10+ people that pretend to be depressed. Even more so if they're making some bullshit virtue signalling crap on a youtube video.

You can get a real depression as a good looking person too.

But I know what you mean Instagram "depressions". It's a disgrace.

I know they can get sad, sure, but they can never know true depression.

If they ever have a bad day, they always can say to themselves, "Hey, at least I'm hot", and that will always be in the back of their mind.

The dilution of the meaning of the word depression in social media (yes often by attractive people and normies overall) is a big problem. Depression =/= one bad day or sad.
Depression is a preciseley defined persistent medical condition stemming from a lack of serotonine in ones brain. You literally need no reason to get this

Sure being ugly is terrible and unadressed in healthcaresystems, but doesn't even necessarily mean you have depression. Then again it can worsen or trigger it.

If you have real depression, get meds, but don't conflate it with your ugliness.

I don't want to teach you, just make this clear because of recent trends in this forum.

I wish I could say something better to líghten you up, but I am socially inadequate and you know I wouldn't probably be on this forum if I wouldn't be in the same boat.

And yes the virtue signaling is annoying af. :feelsree:

Inceldom and depression are synonymous.

What causes lack of seritonin though? I’m pretty sure I’m approaching zero seritonin, because of my hopeless fucking situation.

The specific mechanism is sadly unknown, but probably genetical predisposition and enviroment factors, as always.

I recently heard inflammation could play a role as well.

No offense man, but this is why I think what you’re saying is bullshit. Psychology is putting the cart before the horse with this seritonin shit.

People aren’t feeling hopeless because of lack of seritonin, they’re feeling hopeless which causes the production of seritonin to grind to a halt.

Are there any specific studies you’ve seen that proves otherwise?

Initial enviromental triggers, yeah. Afterwards it becomes pretty much a perpetuum mobile anyway. How can I know about this, if even the scientists didn't make any real connection yet?

Maybe depression is the ultimate destination for inceldom.

Would make an interesting poll tbh to see who has depression symptoms here.

That’s the thing. If the scientists researching this don’t know the connection, why is your narrative being so heavily pushed by the field of psych?

If they don’t know they should stfu, but then I guess pushing SSRIs on people would be a bit harder.

And I’ve tried 2 antidepressants, both for about 4 months each. Niether changed a fucking thing for me.

I just try to stick to the facts. (as far as I am able to)

I have personal theories beyond this but they are just speculation and of no real matter.

The system is kinda broken and it won't get better any time soon.

I can only recommend you to try more stuff, if you are well diagnosed. Only chance to get rid of the symptoms. I mean, it is at least something. Depression and the brain is complicated to treat.
