I don’t even know what I did wrong. All I did was try to be outgoing and talk to them yet they don’t like me. I can feel the animosity they give me. Ive been there for 2 weeks now and they never invited me to the work group chat, they don’t try and include me in conversations, they don’t talk to me first, I always have to be the one to initiate something. If I say hi when I walk in sometimes they won’t even respond or give a half assed response. I accidentally put the wrong toppings on a cheese steak and one of them got pissed at me, like it it wasn’t even a big deal. A few of them also give me some hateful and wierd glares. I just stop-talking to them now I just go in, work, and leave without even greeting them, it’s clear they don’t want me there. The only guy there who likes me and talks to me is the boss who hired me. Just like highschool and university, I try to interact with Normies and they just want me to fuck off. This is why I stopped talking to people at uni. I fucking despise them and wish them an immediate death, all I did was try to be nice and make conversation with them but they don’t want to associate with me.

She even tried to fire me after the second day "after not knowing what to do." Because I’m in the same proximity with them for 5 hours a day, so it’d be weird if I didn’t talk, so I tried to be extroverted the first 2 weeks so I wouldn’t be known as the wierd quiet guy, and it sucks being on one side of the store while the rest of them are in the back talking, but they still hate me, lmao, can’t win no matter what I do

i think the normals who end up in those jobs are especially bitter because of how awful and low status it is, they have no way to cope with it.
