More ideas I'm thinking just now: A lot of the time sadomasochistics engage in intense and highly sensual behaviour because it seems to give them the sort of joy a normal person gets from normal things. A diminished ability to detect sensory inputs may imply diminished ability to detect mental/experiential inputs (cannot understand the blackpill).
Also, sadomasochism cannot be reasoned with. It will motivate all behaviour. Arguable masochism is a trait bred into populations to make them more obedient.
