If you ask the fans what they like about the game or what got them hooked they will mention stuff like story, art... bosses? (note that most of the fans aren't really seasoned metroidvania fans so don't expect it to be SotN good) The gameplay is pretty generic, say incredibly flawed. As for the story/lore you could check em out if you wan cuz I never gave a shit about it lol, but it was like Dark Souls 1 iirc. Bosses might right up your alley they're kinda designed like from the megamans. Some mention replayability? Jfl fuck no, it's literal bait.

But I'm someone who's been a hollow knight fan for like 5 years now and have the platinum trophy so I get to enjoy the game more than all normfags
