Does anyone else absolutely hate movies like American Pie and other movies which show young adults going though the "college experience" of partying, and having normie experiences like girlfriends and general young adult life.

It makes me feel like I missed out on so much, not having a core group of friends to go though it with and go though life with and catch up to see what they're up to, it's all so tiresome.

I also fucking hate movies which show high schools etc.

Those movies are such inaccurate bullshit it isn't even funny anymore. I remember watching one too many Hollywood movies about high school when I was younger, then explained about all the things that would happen in those movies such as emo girls cutting themselves in the corners and shit. This was to my entire family, who probably thought I was a fucking retard. When I actually went to high school, none of these things happened.

The lesson is that little youngcels that are lurking here shouldn't really take these movies as fact.

I actually really enjoyed the entire American Pie series, sure it's unrealistic but it's stupid comedy. I like to watch a lot of romantic comedies too, they're just movies for when I don't want to think and want some heart warming feels. I'm basically living vicariously through the characters in the films.
