Actually both of them think women are oppressed, just for different reasons. The left thinks women are "oppressed" because of a nebulous concept known as "patriarchy". The right thinks that women are oppressed by "degeneracy" and that all these women making 6 figures (or more) on Onlyfans are "victims" of "exploitation".

These attitudes are downstream from biology. Men instinctively want to provide for and protect women at all costs.
