However, I think they have a workaholic work/study culture. Which makes for low births number.
My family has a workaholic / study culture too and I now have actual burnout.
No joke.
A doctor of mine has noticed this. I was there for a routine checkup. Not related to burnout or depression at all.
Just my physical health.
He told me that everything was fine with me, but I have burnout, severe burnout. I was shocked because I did not expect anything like it.
I asked him how he could even tell. I have not told him anything that could make him guess this.
He told me that he can tell by my look. My look is very telling. Since he has studied neurologie and even lectures at a university, he has experience with that.
And he told me things about myself that I never told him about. It's like he could read me like an open book.
I had no idea that I was in such a miserable state.
I broke down, then and there. It all burst out of me. I've been keeping my composure for years, until a few years ago.
It is like he has broken that dam, for good. The pressure was too much anyway.
Now I am waiting for the earliest appointment at one of the two neurologists he has forwarded me to.
They know that I come because of his suggestion, so they are taking this matter seriousely.
Who knows, I just might get my NEETbuxx after all.
But this is not the way I've wanted things to be, tbh.
