We could've faced all of our problems with hope and strength if we had the reassurance of society but we don't. What we have is denial, willful ignorance, and gaslighting. This is what takes hope away from us. Once you've proved to be a failure and a reject as a man, society doesn't want anything to do with you. In fact, it will try to make you as invisible as possible so that it doesn't have to address your concerns.
