No Break on Easter

Even on Easter, I get treated like shit.
I went to Starbucks and none of the workers greeted me. The barista that made my coffee didn’t say anything either.
I could barely stand to drink my coffee. Just too upset. Fuck it all. Even on Easter I cannot get the same treatment as every other customer.
No, they treat me differently.
I threw the coffee in the trash before even drinking half of it. Promising myself that I will never go back there.
Then I went to Safeway. Got treated like shit there too.
I just carried my donuts home and ate them in silence.
The thing is….this is not new. This sort of discrimination has been done to me for as long as I can remember.
But this time it hit me hard.
All these fuckers have people to celebrate Easter with when they get off work.
People always wonder what has made me this way. Well, it’s stuff like this.
It was not that I was treated poorly. It was that I was treated differently.
As though everyone saved up their hate to take out on me.
