Nigger you're going to be spending $70 on every switch 2 game. How are you worried about price when you're playing on the most expensive console to game on?

Make it make sense

aint buying shit (I will probably buy it)

Jfl, imagine buying a shitty console that only runs at 720p 30fps with overpriced games

2021:

Redditor cucks getting rewarded with Nintendo switch while she fucks the Bull, is #1 running joke on here.

2025:

Everyone is going to buy the new Nintendo Switch.

720p 30fps
540p 30-60fps
Switch 2 dlss patent

Buy Nintendo switch, comes with soy milk, monkey pox and a butt plug

Redditors will get it as a gift from Chad so they have something to play while their gf/wife gets fucked.

The 3DS mogs both the Switch and Switch 2

It's still only about PS4 power too if that, so only really makes sense if you love Nintendo games.

That's the only reason I'll be buying the Switch 2, no one cares about specs, all that matters is having fun and unique experiences that other platforms don't offer. That's always been Nintendo's priority instead of innovating with the latest technologies.

70$ for a shitty video game that should cost 40 or 50$ less let alone be free? I'd sooner buy a PS3 and CFW the fuck out of it then ever pay for that shitty console.

My point really though is that you tend to miss out on fresh experiences from other consoles, as the Switch can't typically handle their games.

Nintendo games already offer great diversity and variety, you want to play a tactical RPG? Fire Emblem , an Open-World? BOTW , a 2D platformer? Donkey Kong. If you really want to experiment with other games outside the first-party ones, there are indie games that run easily and cost even less.

If you want to play AAA slop, I don't even understand why you'd buy a Switch in the first place - it's pointless.

Not AAA slop but just games by companies other than Nintendo.

I guess it depends on what you play the most, if you're interested in Nintendo and indie games the switch is a good console. Personally, I had a PC and by having too many choices, you just end up installing games without finishing them , it's like fast food consumption , which is one of the drawbacks of having unlimited access. I'm completely satisfied with Nintendo's creativity.

If you really like Nintendo games and are easygoing about the rest and/or you want a straightforward handheld then it's probably a good bet.

I do like a lot of their older games like Perfect Dark, Star Fox 64, F-Zero, etc. But they seem to want to jettison any IPs that are a bit more adult, which is a shame.

Ocarina and Wind Waker were nice but Zelda has changed a lot recently.

I do think Odyssey looks quite good.

nintendo fans must be actually billionaires to be able to afford to play on that console

I think it's more the fact that they don't know what to do with them and end up neglecting them by focusing on the same franchises over and over again.

I don’t think they will go back to the old formula. Sales alone shows how popular BOTW and TOTK are.
Looking at how OOT revolutionized Zelda, I feel Twilight Princess was the pinnacle of that formula… so having reinvented the series with BOTW and TOTK, I think we will see that formula in it’s pinnacle maybe in the next title?

I guess they don't really fit in well with their current business model.

Which is fine but as a grown man it does make the remaining games look less appealing to me personally!

I do think many of the ones they currently focus on have had some great iterations. The SNES Donkey Kong games are pretty amazing for example.

Or like Pokémon was really fun at first but now seems repetitive to me.

I find modern Zelda... hm. It's almost like the uniqueness of the series feels diluted. The music is far more subtle, the environment looks more generic... it lacks the impact of the older games I think because everything feels watered down.

That's just me though.

If I had to say nice things about modern Nintendo though...

- I like how they're helping to keep local multiplayer alive
- I think some games like Odyssey look fun and high energy
- The hybrid design is clever
- I can see why for kids and certain kinds of people it's very fun.

Was the switch's 1st party support even that good? It was massively kick-started by BOTW and later came Odyssey but honestly Nintendo lacked really hard the past 2-3 years. I only remember nothing for over a year and then came Origami King which was shit and after that I never bought another switch game.

That's pretty much what a Nintendo game costs nowadays. Ridiculous prices, for ridiculous fanboys. No thank you!

I'm not worried about the price, I am more worried if it will have games to justify it.

ATM alabaster dawn is the only one I am looking forward to,

Lifemogger worries. Never had a nintendo home console

truecels trait you never buy switch you only use emulator

I wonder what kind of games the Switch 2 will have. Probably not anything worth the money. I hope I'm wrong.

I only play it because I can't afford another console atm

It's only as powerful as a ps4 pro too. Not worth the money.

Those mainline games from the original switch never went on sale either besides maybe a 5-10% off. That mixed with having to pay ONLINE every year is fucking bullshit

Good point tbh, ps5/series x is more expensive but most of it’s games go on sale for 30 bucks after a year or so, old ps4 games are bargain bin and lower spec releases like indies or AAs are cheap from the get go. Meanwhile Super Mario odyssey costs like 35 pounds in UK, a 7 year old game… It’s full price on nintendo store too

And with PC/steam deck you can just pirate switch games (in Minecraft).

Normies mindlessly buy so they never lower prices.

Ports/remakes. New collectathon Mario.

Not even that.

Nintendo switch is horse shit

I have lots of Switch games on my hard drive I'll never play.

Not even that.
I need to play the 3d mario games, only played galaxy 1 as a kid and that was sick.

Seems like you’re more of a crash person with focused 3d/2d courses then spyro (open ended collectathon 3d). I agree, tighter focused games are just more fun for me in my experience. And super mario galaxy 3 reveal on switch 2 would go so hard
