OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — An armed robber in the San Francisco Bay Area pistol-whipped an Asian man and a person who tried to intervene in what police described Friday as a “brazen” attack in broad daylight.
The man was standing on a corner of Oakland's Chinatown on Thursday when two men walked up and tried to take his belongings. One of the attackers was armed with a gun with an extended magazine, police said in a statement.
The attack comes amid a wave of assaults against Asian Americans in the San Francisco Bay Area and across the country since the coronavirus pandemic took hold in the U.S.

Overall less than 3% of the total population under illegal occupation.

And yeah, South Americans are the only group of Latinos that are more likely to immigrate outside the US ("Canada" as well as Europe, especially Spain, the Netherlands, the UK and France). But you don't see the typical beaner or Puertorican or Dominican up there. Never.

Yeah, I know. But they're different from Caribbean Hispanics and Central Americans because they are generally better off and are more white. Especially countries like Chile and Argentina and Uruguay.

I have heard of Colombians, Venezuelans, Argentines and Brazilians in "Canada" and other Anglo countries like the UK and Australia.

Where I live, most Latinos here are Dominicans and Puertoricans, which are the vast majority in New York, as well as Mexicans, Central Americans, and a few Colombians, Ecuadorians and Peruvians.
