I keep telling my mom that the reason she believes my hair "doesn't grow evenly" is because the shape of my alien skull itself isn't normal, but she refuses to believe it. I always tell her that there's nothing wrong with my hair whenever she says it doesn't look nice, but both her and my aunt always say I need to cut it to look decent, when in reality, having shorter hair just makes me more subhuman than i already am.

They never take a step back and account the haircut in relation to your head, face, etc. to get the broad picture. They're hyperfixated on what the haircut appears to be irrespective of everything else. It's weird AF.

But you really can't blame her. Think about it from a female's perspective. No mother wants to think that their child is inherently and genetically low-quality; it would reflect poorly on their own physical appearance and make them doubt the value of their own genes. It would just be too brutal to fathom.

But you really can't blame her. Think about it from a female's perspective. No mother wants to think that their child is inherently and genetically low-quality; it would reflect poorly on their own physical appearance and make them doubt the value of their own genes. It would just be too brutal to fathom.

They need to stop being incredulous and acknowledge the truth. It would make things so much easier.
