No clue. Never had to sharpen it once. jfl

I only have folding knives and wanted to get a fixed-blade knife, which is why I asked. Thanks for the reply brocel.

I am sorry that I could not help you, man. I have bought this knife because I have read that it is basically the same quality as the german made Kampfmesser but for a lot less money.

That is why I have bought it. I might get it sharpened but I would not know what for.
I literally only open carton boxes with it.

But I have heard people hammer it into trees to stand on it and it wouldn't break.

A giy from the USA told me that he was hiking with this knife and slipped and almost fell to his death and that knife saved his life.

He apparently managed to pull it out instinctively and stab it into some crack / gap.

The knife held his whole weight, no problem. He managed to climb up.

They have gotten a bit more expensive though, like everything nowadays.

I have bought mine for 35€ which was a bargain, man.

I’m seriously thinking about getting the Glock field knife. I was actually planning to buy a combat knife from Eickhorn too, until I saw the price. I go stealth camping quite often, and the knife will serve me well there.
