At least I'd have a place to call mine and not have to worry about sharing the kitchen, toilet, etc. So while it would get claustrophobic and depressing it's still better than sharing a normal house or apartment with 3 other strangers.

Agreed. Living by yourself is infinitely better. I would live in a tube like this if necessary to keep that.
