Every one of your favourite artists have created love songs. They are played in the radio. Mentioned in lyrics.Romance in movies. It's hard to escape. Society forces you to desire relationships and love. Every normie seems to enjoy songs about love and romance. Even the most dark triad, masculine rappers sing about love. I wish I could experience it. It hurts to the core. Its gotten to the point where if I hear one song about romance and sex,I immediately turn it off cos its suifuel.

Love songs are fine. Most of the music I listen to is about love in some way or another. Romance movies are a different story, they make me physically ill.

Music it too emotive, I can see why so many musicians kill themselves and/or have mental health problems. Compares to film/TV/gaming/books etc, which are all escapist and comforting, music is too real. Those other things allow you to feel emotions in a safe, artificial way, vicariously through other characters and other worlds, but music just evokes real, raw emotions. Music (when it connects) makes me nostalgic and makes me think about my life, about events in my life and it's horrible. But most of the time it doesn't connect and it's boring. I can only listen to music for short spells, which I rarely do.
