If neither are needed to play next gen games I'll keep my one, if I need them for next gen games and they are backwards compatible I'll sell my one and get the series X. If they aren't I'll keep my one and take time to save up for the series X

PC and Xbox do work together but not game share wise. Hopefully Microsoft will incorporate PC/Xbox gameplay. I tend to use my console companion on PC quite a bit tbh
