This is a follow-up on my most popular thread ever on this forum:

I know this was published back in April, but I was in the midst of studying for exams then and didn't notice that that article had been published until this month. Given the popularity of the previous thread, which was about Kristof's article on Pornhub, I might as well write a new thread on Kristof's article on XVideos.

Anyways, here are the most interesting bits:

Heather Legarde, a young woman in Alberta, felt the world crashing down on her last August. She had discovered that her ex-husband had posted intimate videos of her online, she told me, and people around the world were gazing at her naked body...Worst of all, in one video her former husband sexually assaulted her as she lay unconscious in their bed. Legarde has no recollection of the assault and no idea how the video was made. One clue: It was tagged “sleeping pills.”

Some 200,000 people had watched her being assaulted while she was drugged and unconscious. So on that day in August, mortified and dizzied by her discovery of the betrayal, Legarde prepared to tie a noose.
A 16-year-old girl in Perth, Australia, a good student and popular in school, took a naked photo of herself while standing in front of a bathroom mirror. She sent it via Snapchat, so that it would automatically disappear in seconds, to her 17-year-old boyfriend, with the words: “I love you. I trust you.”

The boyfriend took a screenshot before it disappeared and shared it with five of his friends. They in turn shared it with 47 of their friends. Within a few days, more than 200 people in the school had a copy. Someone uploaded it to a porn site, naming the girl and her school; over three months, with the help of online searches directing people to the site, the photo was downloaded 7,000 times. The family moved to a different city, but students there found the image as well, so the family fled to a different state in Australia.

Paul Litherland, a former Australian police officer who worked on the case, told me that the photo was posted on porn websites all over the world, so the girl felt she could never escape. She refused to attend school. She self-medicated with drugs. And then, at the age of 21, she took her life.

For those of you weren't aware of what happened back with Kristof's article on Pornhub back in December 2020, his article was the reason why Pornhub purged almost three-quarters of their videos from the website. Visa and Mastercard announced they would stop working with Pornhub, and multiple U.S. senators introduced a bill that would've federally criminalized the nonsensual sharing of nudes (though it later died in committee).

However, XVideos, which is based in the Czech Republic, doesn't seem to give a fuck. Google doesn't either. :feelskek:

XVideos did not respond to earlier requests for comment, but after this article was published online, the company provided an unsigned statement.
Google is a pillar of this sleazy ecosystem, for roughly half the traffic reaching XVideos and XNXX appears to come from Google searches. I reached out to Google to understand its reasons for complicity with companies that monetize child sexual abuse, but I didn’t receive satisfactory answers.

Turns out broad shoulders and big chin weren't good reasons to trust a man :lul:

they're just mad that the nudes and videos are being posted without any monetary compensation

This is virtue signaling at its peak LMAO

What a fucking dumb cunt. She willingly sent it with consent. Good, I'm glad it blew up in her whore face.

"and popular"

it's hard to empathize because if she loved/trusted a sub-chad worthy of it who doesn't take her for granted this wouldn't have happened
sub-chad would worship her and not want to share this image with other guys for entertainment
not unless she cheated on him or something in which case broken trust deserves broken trust

16 is old enough to fuck in Australia so I don't see why it should be different for photography.

IMO sex is more dangerous than people seeing your naked body so age for your nudes being non-CP should be slightly lower than AOC anywhere

as far as the right to choose how your image is circulated (as applied to adults in general) I think I'll worry about that shit when we've cracked down on the rampant crime and assault and poverty

they're only getting money from my indirectly from ad-views

Lifefuel at its finest :feelskek:

Turns out if you treat Chad like a star, he will treat you like a fan :feelshaha:

Could have had a looksmatched guy who would never betray her trust but noo that is unthinkable

I hope they all kill themselves in the most painful way possible :feelshaha:

Who cares what they think :dab: MAKE PORNHUB GREAT AGAIN

Wait, don’t whores tell us there’s nothing wrong with a naked body and that this is slut shaming? By their logic there should be nothing wrong with someone seeing naked pics because there is nothing to be ashamed of.

when news articles describe a female victim as being popular and well liked, that's a euphemism for calling her a whore.

How am i supposed to believe this shit?

There's is not a photography of the proof!

Obviously some kind of larp thingy

OP, NYT and most MSM is preoccupied with whiteknighting for women but then you say things in other threads like
MSM is based

Nonetheless it's absurd how much it just takes one unflattering article to use as a justification for purging websites. A bad precedent.

This is a high IQ post that cucktears and other simps will never be able to come up with an answer for.

Hopefully they're killing themselves as we speak.

Kristof has two Pulitzers, what he says carries more weight than some Huffington Post intern.

A writer from the huffington post or vice could put out a hitpiece and get a reddit sub they don't like banned or cause companies to withdraw doing business with certain websites. While what he says carries more weight than the average media intern it's still negative publicity and no company wants the wrong kind of publicity in certain matters. Not all publicity is good publicity.

Yeah it is. Literally where cancel culture comes from. They can just write hitpieces about whoever they don't like and get them deplatformed.

Do you really think it's the Times' fault as opposed to Visa and Mastercard?

I mean, what do you think is the alternative here?

Both are at fault. The media for trying to tell people what to think instead of reporting the news and companies for bowing to pressure from media and social media outrage in an effort to seem hip and woke.

I don't agree. Investigative journalism is reporting the news, mind you, and opinion pieces are just that -- opinions. I see a free press as an extension of freedom of expression.

The ones at fault are normies for not polishing their critical thinking skills.

You are asking for the impossible. Normies aren't going to change how they react to thanks just because of (ideally) the responsibility to do so in an age where information and fact checking is more important than ever.

I do in fact blame the messenger when they know how the average person is going to react to their "investigative" reports meant to create outrage and sensationalize things.

The Times shouldn't have to censor themselves because normies are stupid.

Ideally no media should have to but if they know normies are stupid there's no point in prodding normies further with outrage articles and publishing things that normies could then use to witch hunt often private male citizens or their businesses (who cancel culture is aimed at since celebrities are used to taking flak).

It's like that debate about dumb dads on tv. Advertisers that were blamed for such ads said they were just catering to women. While true that man bashing ads appeal to women does that mean the advertisers shouldn't have any blame for promoting such ads to appeal to women? Imo in that situation advertisers also share blame for catering to women by bashing men.

Gentlemen

This is their plan to make porn disappear(not really) and condition us to stuff like onlyfans. Better revenue model, you see.

Is this really true? Every time I visit porn websites I never come across any of this material. :feelsjuice:

Does anybody have specific links to some videos? The thought of a woman feeling bad afterward becoming suicidal is pretty hot, watching such a video would make it even more enjoyable. :feelsdevil:

Puts a big smile on my face
In all honesty, we need more foid suicides, they have quite a few percentages to go in catching up to the male ones. :feelsjuice:

Smaller sites with lax or no enforcement is usually where it's easier to find, though on the major platforms (except Pornhub now that only verified pornographers can upload) it's a matter of plugging in the right keywords.

Hmm, interesting. :feelsjuice:

But I thought foids could tell whether or not you had a good personality?! :feelshaha:

I hope these whores go through a massive downward spiral to the point where they can't look themselves in the mirror out of shame and self-hatred. It's what they fucking deserve.

"Oh you see that video in which I am having consensual sex with my boyfriend and moaning while looking at the camera? Yeah that's when I was raped." :feelshaha::feelshaha::feelshaha::feelshaha::feelshaha:

So logically, their boyfriends have awful, nasty personalities, but despite that, were able to get into relationships and have sex, thereby proving that personality doesn't matter to foids. Checkmate, blue pillers! Checkmate.

The fact that those videos ended up on porn sites pisses me off because I never got to see any of them

Good student like good employee in a simple manner means good at following orders, memorizing things and not asking questions. Women excel in that more than men so that's why there are more women in colleges and that's why they are rewarded by state with more job opportunities.

Everyone can remember in school before puberty how teachers always used to compliment girls for behaving good and having good grades while boys were too busy fighting, joking and arguing with teachers.
