No matter what you say about SH2, I can never not stop loving it. It might just be nostalgia, Silent Hill 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games. Now, it's been years since I played SH2, but I think it isn't just about male sexuality bad. It just gets deep on an emotional level, and sexual frustrations are part of that. Sexual frustrations and desires manifested into the monsters and Mary does not make the game inherently anti-male sexuality. I never saw James and his sexual frustration as inherently evil, and don't think that was the purpose. In fact, I related to him (besides the fact that I don't have a gf). I don't want to discuss SH2 though because I am too attached to the game. I must admit I'm highly biased when it comes to SH2.
Anyway, you did somewhat change my view on Silent Hill 3. I was blinded by nostalgia (and still am); now I realized that feminism was sprinkled around here and there in the game. It fees like I've been sort of betrayed.

Silent Hill really doesn't offer anything other than a story. The gameplay isn't very good at all.
I wouldn't say all entertainment is political. But politics certainly influence creative output. Mario for example, no longer has Peach as a damsel in distress because feminists found it offensive. Japanese games are becoming less sexualized as to be less offensive towards women. American games tend to be more hyper political, especially when it comes to progressivism. Krogan's videos were great.
