News New Moderators: PPEcel and Komesarj89

Greetings,

Today I am proud to announce two new additions to the moderation team: @PPEcel and @Komesarj89

PPEcel has been invaluable in providing rule guidance on here and behind the scenes ever since I took over. He obviously has a deep care for the community and wants to be able to help in any capacity to preserve it.

Komesarj89 has been very helpful in general. He runs the official discord server along with providing useful advice to myself and @Fat Link behind the scenes. There may have been lots of drama with the Discord server, but it seems to have been resolved now.

Welcome both of these guys to the team!

Whatever our past differences @PPEcel has more than earned my respect with all of the great work and help he has done for the site and provided to me personally behind the scenes.

I am convinced we may make a proud American patriot of the boy one day yet!

As for @Komesarj89? My own personally hand picked choice to be a moderator here, after getting to know him through PM’s helping him with various important issues and vice versa.

He also happens to run our official site affiliated incel Discord, the link to which can be found on Lounge.

Sorry about that ie the posts I mean but that is probably an unintended consequence of users requesting I use the spam cleaner on their account to delete their entire post histories.

This according to another of my mods @Robtical would likely have this effect.

This according to another of my mods @Robtical would likely have this effect.

That's the drawback of it, because it deletes entire threads with the replies, and when they post replies to other's threads it makes it seem like users who replied to them are talking to ghosts.

It would be better to delete their account normally and ask them the specific posts they want deleted, and not have to delete everything, but it's safer to use it for a user who hasn't made a lot of threads and has a low post count.

Individual moderators have the discretion to notify the creator of a report of its resolution. There is no fixed rule. It does depend on the existing caseload.
