I was venting to a friend yesterday about how I'm not able to find a suitable partner to date and be in a relationship with. She named a couple of men that she knows are interested in me, and told me I should give them a chance. When I told her I do not vibe with them, nor can see myself dating them, she told me I'd be happy being in a relationship with one of those guys as they'd be way more into me and treat me well.
A popular piece of dating advice given to women is that the guy should be more into you than you are into him. While I understand this can be a defense mechanism against any future hurt - I really cannot make myself attracted to you if I'm not. Is it too much to ask for that I want a relationship where BOTH of us are attracted to each other?
Just improve your personality bro!
