Possibly because im NEET and seldom go outside but i just haven't, even in School I didn't although there were a group of guys that got all the foids attention but they were just the non-whites in a 95%+ white school and non were higher than a 7/10.
there were many 8/9 females though.

No you have good observation. The actual PSL 8+ is very very rare. I would say MOST people have never seen one in the wild.

Had a feeling this was the case though I do suppose it's all about location, since I live in a working class town and not a big city where you see a wider variety of people.

what you are seeing an illusion. You think those females are attractive because thats how most of them appear in society, how and why? BECAUSE OF MAKEUP. Most of the women these days we will see in public are all average at best. Its very rare for a woman to be truly attractive. In comparison to the male gender, women are extremely genetically inferior. Men dont even wear makeup and you can clearly see how genetically gifted a lot of them are. I get mogged daily by so many men i walk past. Its infuriating.

Yes im an ugly human being, but when i look at a male ( or female) and rate them i dont influence my decision by my own looks. When i look at them i rate them objectively. And yes i should have elaborated, im not saying where i live or pretty much anywhere is filled with 8/10 or higher men, heck theres probably more averageish looking males than chads. But the 8/10s are still out there, and theres plenty of them.

Lets also not forget that location is a key factor here as well ( countries)

I hired an amateur model once for my photography class. He looked robust and was lean and tall. We were going to do outdoors shots and he was hiding behind the bushes while he was waiting for me to not be seen. I guess the attention becomes annoying when you look like a model.
