i’ve made a similar post in the past where i’ve had a issue at the mall with some random kid making random sounds at me. Today my mom forced me to go to the mall with her and I got the same experience.

She made me wait outside a store for a bit and I see this group of normies walking by me, this one stupid guy started pointing some weird ass toy at me and making sounds at me and his friend group just laughed along.

Seeing couples and friend groups makes it more miserable. Then my parents wonder why I rot at home all day. If I looked like a tall grown man this wouldn’t happen to me.

We used to have one here like 25 30 years ago, went to the video arcade there all the time, but it went under maybe 15 to 20 years ago. Thought they all died out?

Malls are pretty much dead. Back in my hometown there were 3 malls within like 30 minutes of me. 2 of them are gone and demolished. The other was a ghost town last I went, which was like 10 years ago. Even back then it was a ghost town. Most of the people I saw were boomers. A few children who were with their parents. But I don't think I even saw a single person in the 18-29 age range.

From what I understand there are a few active and thriving malls, but for the most part they're anachronistic. Relics of a bygone era that are mostly empty with a few boomers and on the verge of closing down completely.

These days most young people are hyper-introverted and terminally online. They'd rather scroll tik-tok, play fortnite, and talk to their friends on discord than hang out at a mall (or anywhere else in real life). If they want to buy something they'll just order it on amazon. Amazon did to malls what video did to the radio star.

BUT, it's often enough to pick out the leader and take him down. The rest are usually cowardly followers.
