"Networking" is a term that gets thrown around at universities, in articles, forums, and discussions relating to the job world.

Just a quick reminder to everyone: this is a bullshit term. Like other bluepilled terminology, "Build a network, bro" basically translates to "be Chad."

Pay attention and you'll notice that Chads don't "network." Their social circle is their network, and it grows literally without them ever lifting a finger. People offer them jobs, promotions, and other business opportunities like they're offering cups of coffee.

Treat networking like gymcelling; don't do it but if you for some strange reason decide to, don't expect any results and be prepared for further embarrassment.

Normies really love their "soft skills" such as communication skills, because it's just a way to discriminate against people based on looks

High IQ thread

cope. networking helps anyone get jobs, especially if the guy offering is in a high position. i dont embrace it however since i refuse to talk to anyone.

I got jobs from networking lol

Networking= looks, neurotypical brain

It's not really like dating. I've seen plenty of incels get jobs but you need to be somewhat NT and better resume than your Chad competition

Networking = statusmaxxing
Status is heavily influenced by looks

Because menial labour is getting automated and everything else is getting overrun by middle management roasties, all productive wage slavery has just become primate politics where people still happen be more productive than 30 years ago but only because technology got more advanced. It will only get worse as time goes by, fuck this planet

You might think you got jobs from networking. I would argue that if you're incel, it's unlikely that the networking is what actually got you the jobs.

"I've seen plenty of gymcels get jacked but you need to be somewhat athletic to begin with and you need to lift and eat more than your Chad competition."

I don't see why this would be true for anyone except Chads. Networking is just socializing, which is precisely why Chads and foids want it to be important and have gone to great lengths to "prop up" its importance in recent decades (the expansion of HR departments, multi-stage interview processes which always lack the most obviously objective qualification criteria such as IQ tests, etc.).

If you're not Chad and you're qualified for a job and you apply, interview and end up getting it, it stands to reason that your qualifications got you the job and that any networking you did was purely a formality.

I literally got the job because I asked an acquaintance about it. I can act socially semi-decently, pass for a normie I suppose.
